FashionABLE is an Ethiopian based company that exists to create sustainable jobs and skills for women in Africa. They work with the women to start up small business co-ops and are committed to acquiring products and supplies through manufacturers who provide fair wages and hiring practices.
Each of the products from FashionABLE comes with a story from a woman you’ve helped by purchasing from them. I LOVE their scarves – we gave my mom one as a Christmas gift and I own one myself. Earlier in the summer, FashionABLE teamed up with ALT Summit for a scarf design contest. They’ve narrrowed it down to the top 3 and are leaving it up to us to choose the winner!
