The project I had lined up to do this month did NOT get done as we were away for 10 days and have now been trying to get everything back on track.
So I’m taking you back to Easter and a craft that I had the kids do which really you can do for anything!
We bought small canvases from the dollar store, the kids picked out their favourite paint colours, and we picked up a few packs of foam alphabet stickers.
After deciding what we wanted each canvas to say, the older boys stuck on their words and painted over top. I helped Keekers spell out her words and made sure the paint got right to the edges of the stickers.
We let them dry overnight and in the morning peeled off the foam (some of the foam had a tendency to stick, so just be patient in peeling it all off!).
Voila! Super easy and something you can do with any quote or phrase!
Check out the As You Wish canvas my friend Darla did last week. I’m planning on repeating this idea with a larger canvas and another verse, so I’ll post an update when that gets done.
