We don’t eat a LOT of snacks around here. But when we do, I like them to be as healthy as possible. Even if we’re just chowing down on a couple of cookies, if they can be homemade or even disguised as healthy with whole wheat (though The Man sniffs those out easily ;D), I’m all for it!
It’s not that difficult to make your own snack foods. It does take a little bit of time and planning ahead to ensure you have ingredients on hand. I usually plan to make a couple different things a week and enough in bulk to freeze or store for future.
