Whole Wheat Waffles
1 1/2 cups flour
2/3 cup whole wheat flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups 1% milk
6 tablespoons veg oil
2 large eggs
Place first 8 ingredients in large mixing bowl and combine until well blended and smooth. Let batter sit for 5 minutes before using.
Preheat waffle iron (if you like, spray with a non-stick spray, but because there is oil in these, they should be fine w/o it).
Pour 3/4 cup batter in to the center of the waffle iron and spread out to the edges (any more and it will definitely overflow!).
